Course Description:

This course discusses the prevalence and diagnostic criteria of adult obesity, its complex pathophysiology, and obesity-related conditions. This course also discusses comprehensive clinical assessment findings in those with obesity. Weight bias and stigma, and their effects on nursing care, are also discussed.
