Course Description:
This course discusses the newly updated developmental milestones over the lifespan from the infant to the older adult, different assessment needs, and common safety issues for each age group.
Outcomes:

Objectives:
After completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Outline typical motor, cognitive, and emotional developmental milestones of infants and children under 12.
- Outline typical motor, cognitive, and emotional developmental milestones of adolescents.
- Outline typical motor, cognitive, and emotional developmental milestones of adults.
- Outline typical motor, cognitive, and emotional developmental milestones of adults over 65.
- Explain at least one safety issue for each age group.
