Course Description:
This course discusses the different types of sexual harassment that can occur in the workplace, and how they can be prevented. It also discusses how an employee can report incidents of sexual harassment and the negative impact that sexual harassment can have on employees and the work environment.
Outcomes:
≥92% of participants will know how to recognize and prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
- Define sexual harassment.
- Identify different types of sexual harassment.
- List some of the behaviors that are part of sexual harassment.
- Explain the steps an employee can take if they experience unwelcome sexual advances or contact.
- Determine the appropriate process for when an employee makes a complaint about sexual harassment.
- Outline why an employee may be reluctant to report sexual harassment.
- List the negative effects that sexual harassment can have on an employee.
