This course discusses the various types of angina, its pathophysiology, common (and uncommon) causes of angina/chest pain, nursing management, and diagnostics.
Outcomes:

Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
Define the different types of angina and their underlying pathophysiology.
Identify common signs and symptoms associated with angina, including atypical presentations.
Differentiate between stable, unstable, and variant (Prinzmetal's) angina.
Describe evidence-based nursing assessments and interventions for patients presenting with angina.
Summarize pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management strategies for angina.
