Course Description:
ADHD, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The purpose of this activity is to assist the care giver in being able to successfully care for the patient with ADHD.
Outcomes:
Goal ≥92% of participants will know how to care for people with ADHD.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to meet the following objectives:
- Describe symptoms of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.
- Discuss how to care for a person with ADHD who is impulsive.
- Discuss how to care for a person with ADHD who is hyperactive.
- Discuss how to care for a person with ADHD who is inattentive.
- Recognize what to report to the nurse.
