Course Description:
The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to identify and aid in the management of patients with kidney disease.
Outcomes:
≥ 92% of participants will know how to care for patients with kidney and renal disease.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to meet the following objectives:
- Describe the anatomy of the renal system.
- Identify signs and symptoms of renal disease.
- Identify common causes of kidney and renal failure.
- Define the role of the CNA in caring for patients with kidney disease.
- Discuss what to report to a nurse.
