Course Description:
This course discusses the unique care needs of patients with HIV/AIDS.
Outcomes:
≥ 92% of participants will know how to care for patients with HIV/AIDS.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
1. Define HIV/AIDS.
2. Determine the rights of someone with HIV/AIDS.
3. List the ways HIV is transmitted.
4. Explain what to do after being exposed to blood.
5. Describe the basic care often needed by HIV/AIDS patients.
