Course Description:
This course discusses background information on breast cancer, including risk factors, types, treatment, and prevention. Special cases associated with breast cancer are also discussed.
Outcomes:

Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe risk factors for breast cancer.
- Explain the genetic mutation most frequently associated with the development of breast cancer.
- Identify types of screening implicated in the diagnosis of breast cancer.
- Determine the most common types of breast cancer diagnosed in the United States.
- Recognize typical treatment options for breast cancer.
