Course Description:
This course discusses how arthritis forces patients to change how they manage their daily lives. There are several things that a CNA can do to help the patient.
Outcomes:
≥92% of participants will know how to care for a patient with arthritis.
Objectives:
After completing this course, the learner will be able to:
- Describe signs of osteoarthritis.
- Discuss signs of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Describe the care of the patient with arthritis.
- Discuss equipment that is used to assist the patient with arthritis.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms that should be reported to the nurse.
