Course Description:

The purpose of this program is to prepare the Certified Nursing Assistant on caring for patients with OCD effectively and safely.

Outcomes:

≥ 92% of participants will know how to work with a patient with OCD.

Objectives:

After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Define obsession.
  2. Recall compulsion.
  3. Identify the signs of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
  4. Describe how to work with OCD patient.
  5. Identify what needs to be reported to the nurse.
