Course Description:
The purpose of this program is to prepare the Certified Nursing Assistant on caring for patients with OCD effectively and safely.
Outcomes:
≥ 92% of participants will know how to work with a patient with OCD.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
- Define obsession.
- Recall compulsion.
- Identify the signs of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
- Describe how to work with OCD patient.
- Identify what needs to be reported to the nurse.
