Course Description: 

 This course discusses signs and symptoms of impairment in the healthcare work setting. Participants will also learn initiatives to promote safety and provide assistance, how to make a report or referral, and treatment plans available for the impaired healthcare professional.

Outcomes 

≥92% of participants will report an increase in knowledge regarding how to access and manage the impaired healthcare professional.

After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
