Course Description:
This course discusses healthcare issues specific to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and adults over age 65, as well as healthcare screening and preventive measures for these age groups.
Outcomes:
≥ 92% of participants will know healthcare issues and screening recommendations for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and aging adults.
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe a safety issue for a specific age group.
- Identify a need/issue for a specific age group.
- Choose a preventive intervention for each age group covered in this module.
- Summarize an assessment approach that is specific to an age group.
- Analyze health risks that are specific to an age group.
