Course Description:
This course aims to provide an overview of osteoarthritis (OA). The course will discuss the risk factors, causes, signs, and symptoms of OA. The national goals, such as from Healthy People 2030, are outlined. Treatment options, including non-pharmacological and pharmacological options, are discussed.
Outcomes:
≥92% of participants will understand how to assess and manage osteoarthritis (OA).
Objectives:
After completing this continuing education course, the learner will be able to:
- Summarize the burden of osteoarthritis (OA).
- Outline national goals for improving the care of OA.
- Identify causes of OA.
- Describe symptoms of OA.
- List interventions that relieve symptoms of OA.
