Course Description:
The purpose of this activity is to enable nursing assistants to identify and aid in the management of seizures in patients.
Outcomes:
≥92% of participants will know how to care for a patient with seizures.
Objectives:
After completing this course, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the cause of seizures.
- Identify the types of seizure.
- Describe the care of patients with seizures.
- Discuss how to react during an active seizure.
- Discuss what to report to the nurse.
