This course discusses CNA assistance with residents who are able to self-administer medication.
Outcomes

Objectives
After completing this continuing education course, the participant will be able to:
- Summarize how a resident is qualified for self-administration of medication.
- Define the medications that a certified nursing assistant (CNA) can assist with self-administration.
- List what is included on a prescription label.
- Identify how to store medication correctly.
- Identify classifications of medications.
- Define the seven rights of medication.
- Recognize signs of medication misuse.
